Success Stories and Testimonials

The Signature team has more than a decade of experience working with students, families, and even full-time schools to customize and teach courses year-round and seasonally. No matter what a student needs over any period of time, Signature has a way to make it work. Here are just a few examples.
Bridget P.
Now a graduate of Reed College in Oregon, Bridget was a full-time student in an online high school. During her senior year of high school, she wanted to take an AP English course to focus on improving her writing. For Bridget, working directly with an expert teacher with whom she'd be able to discuss the readings and engage in hands-on editing sessions was critical. While her online school offered the AP course, it could not offer the lively, guided discussion and personalized writing support of a human teacher.
Sophie G.
Sophie graduated from The Bromfield School, a Boston-area public high school. For four years, Sophie enrolled at Signature One-to-One School (then called Wellington Preparatory School One-to-One Academy) for her third quarter studies. During the pandemic school year, Sophie also enrolled in full-year one-to-one courses in AP Biology and Honors Chemistry. She is justifiably proud of the "5" she earned on the AP Biology exam. Sophie is now a student at the University of Miami and continues to compete in the jumper divisions.
Skyler F.
Skyler graduated from Wellesley High School, a public school in the Boston area. She had three years of seasonal enrollment at Signature One-to-One School, and is now a student at Southern Methodist University. In addition to being recruited to SMU's Division 1 NCAA equestrian team, Skyler leveraged Signature’s college counseling team for guidance in applying to and gaining admission to SMU's Cox School of Business. She graduated from SMU’s competitive undergraduate business program and continues to compete in the amateur jumper divisions.
Jessie G.
Jessie wanted to be able to train and compete in Florida, and her Connecticut boarding school would only allow it if she could enroll in an accredited school for the second trimester. Signature One-to-One School coordinated with Choate Rosemary Hall to customize her curriculum and support teachers for Jessie that allowed her to stay on pace with her classmates and return for the third trimester as if she'd never been away. Jessie is now a student at Washington University in St. Louis.
