Signature One-to-One School is always seeking exceptional educators, especially in upper-level math, sciences, humanities, French, and Spanish, in Wellington, Florida and Morriston/Ocala, Florida for part-time teaching positions. Students are primarily in high school, and all teaching is one-to-one. Teaching opportunities often include math through calculus BC (occasionally higher), AP Statistics, AP Macro/Micro, all sciences (bio, chem, physics) through AP and college levels, all humanities through AP and college levels, and Spanish, French, and Latin. There are also opportunities for in-person and remote standardized test prep (SSAT, ISEE, ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT) and college counseling specialists for students in grades 6 through 12. There may also be opportunities to teach financial and cost accounting, finance, operations, marketing, coding, and use of various software programs like Excel and QuickBooks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college (graduate students and graduate degrees welcome)
Previous experience and track record of success in teaching, tutoring, training, and mentoring
Reliable transportation and flexible availability, especially Monday through Thursday between 8 am and 6 pm Eastern Time
Exceptional subject knowledge
Ability to build rapport with students
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19
Responsibilities:
Manage and educate students one-on-one in a non-classroom setting and via Zoom/Skype
Implement lesson plans for grades 6 through 12
Establish and track academic progress/milestones, ensure students meet all due dates
Document and communicate student progress internally and to parents
