Signature One-to-One School
High School Graduation Requirements and Course Offerings
The course catalog lists graduation requirements by subject, and lists only the courses that are currently NCAA-approved. Signature One-to-One offers additional courses (and develops customized courses, especially electives) at levels through AP/IB, including Spanish, Latin, French, Mandarin and various electives (including arts like ceramics, music, and more), that are fully accredited academically (MSA CESS) but not yet NCAA-approved. NCAA approval is completely separate from academic accreditation. For students whose goals are to participate in college athletics, NCAA approval of their high school coursework is required. We continue to submit additional and new courses for NCAA approval as necessary.

All courses are offered at the following levels:
Advanced level courses offer college-level curriculum and pacing that, upon successful completion, prepare the student to sit for the College Board Advanced Placement Exam in that subject.
Honors level course curricula offer more rigor, depth, and faster pacing than a standard college-preparatory course, requiring students to meet higher standards of academic performance. Honors courses are appropriate for hard-working students seeking further challenge.
College Preparatory level is the standard for all Signature One-to-One courses to prepare students for academic success in college.

Honor Code and Academic Integrity
The Signature One-to-One School community supports a climate of honesty, respect, responsibility, and trust. The pursuit of knowledge is the mission of the school and the responsibility of each individual student. Our community encourages students to take pride in their own abilities while providing the guidance for students to develop personal initiative, perseverance, and independence. The community, including students, faculty, and families, fosters the growth of all members through honest effort.
Proactive Measures to Ensure Academic Integrity
Signature One-to-One School is proactive in sustaining a culture of learning and promoting academic integrity. Each exam includes a cover sheet requiring students to sign their names to affirm that the work they are submitting is their own, produced by them under the tenets of Signature One-to-One School’s Honor Code.
Academic Calendar
In grades 6 through 12, all classes are one-on-one to allow for flexible scheduling for each student. Because student schedules are individual and customized, there is no master academic calendar. Families and students coordinate with administration to set start dates of coursework, weekly class schedules, and vacation days or weeks.
Maximum time to complete semesters - Students and teachers manage pacing of coursework to be sure that students complete each semester’s required coursework in no more than six months.
Minimum time to complete semesters - Because Signature One-to-One School offers only college preparatory courses, it is not possible for students to complete a semester’s required coursework in less than twelve weeks.
Most students complete two semesters/one school year within a typical school year schedule of September through June; however, all have the option to choose a different academic schedule (start and end dates, vacation days, summer courses, and more).
No one offers more high-level educational options for today’s ambitious students.
